| Information About The Proper Display of This Web site |
|
In order to maintain the appearance of the artwork, this site features color-rich graphics that may not display correctly for some users, but there are certain steps you can take to ensure proper viewing. 1. Browser Version: Make sure you are using at least a 4.0 or above browser from either Netscape or Microsoft. Both companies distribute their browsers free of charge. Note: Although we make no claim whatsoever on which is a "better" browser, because Microsoft's Internet Explorer makes changes to the actual operating system, we recommend downloading Netscape's Navigator as the install process is simpler and makes few changes to your computers' operating system. 2. System Settings: Check your system settings to make sure you are displaying colors to their fullest potential. In Windows 95/98 and NT, you can go to START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL>DISPLAY and choose the SETTINGS tab. Then Under the COLORS section, use the pull down menu to choose either HIGH COLOR or TRUE COLOR. Then in the SCREEN AREA selector choose at least 800x600 PIXELS using the slider bar. It is possible you will have to reboot (restart) your computer to effect these new settings, so please bookmark this site before changing these settings. 2a. MAC System Settings: To set the system to correctly view the site, go to APPLE>SYSTEM PREFERENCES>DISPLAYS and make sure that MILLIONS of colors is selected. 3. AOL Users: The browser that comes with AOL has certain weaknesses when it comes to properly displaying colors. It has been our experience that using a browser OTHER than the one built in to AOL is preferable to view sites as they are intended to be viewed. You can still use another, external browser while using your AOL account. Simply look on your computer for either a NETSCAPE or INTERNET EXPLORER icon that denotes the presence of another browser and use that browser to view this, and other Web sites. You will need to note the address of this site before starting the other browser so you can return easily. The address of this site is www.bogdanoff.com. If you do not see the browser icons, you can use the links above to download a browser from Netscape or Microsoft. If you take the steps mentioned above you will enjoy this, and other Web sites much more. NOTE: The suggestions provided here are known to work on most computers, but may be incompatible with your particular system configuration. We are unable to provide technical support to users trying to effect these or other changes to their computer. Furthermore, we are not affiliated, in any way, with Netscape, Microsoft or AOL (America Online). |
